S Mobility, India’s leading mobile Internet company, has launched India’s first 3G & 2G dual SIM Android phone Mi-350 in Chennai.
The Mi-350 smart phone, powered by the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread, boasts of a super powerful battery backup that lasts up to seven days – a first in the world of mobile handsets. Currently, smartphones run on fast processors and have a lot of applications around them but do not have long-lasting batteries to support them.
The Mi-350 is powered by a 650MHz turbo processor based on the MTK platform and is loaded with a host of utilities and features like Google task bar and facebook. With a 3.5 inch screen, the Mi-350 offers an innovative framework, faster response and deeper integration at a very attractive MRP of Rs 9,999 only.
To support the launch, S Mobility will be strengthening its distribution network across the state. Currently, there are 50,000 retail points, including the 750+ Spice HotSpot retail networks across India and more than 2,500 leading outlets in Tamil Nadu.
Present at the mobile launch were T M Ramakrishnan, associate vice-president – Operations, Chennai Cluster, S Mobility Ltd, and Vikrant Choudhary – Synergize Tech Pvt Ltd, distributor of cell phones in Chennai.
