It is not just people in the city who have now become attached to confectionery items but also those in the suburbs. Cashing in on this new culture, Chocoman’s opened its cake shop on January 29, 2012, at vibrant Chromepet.

They offer Barbie cakes, birthday cakes and their speciality is eggless cakes. They also prepare sandwiches, burgers, desserts, pizzas, chocolate fountain, ice creams, smoothies and fresh juices.
K Rajbabu and his partner Srinivas feel that a butter base may not suit fitness freaks and so they use healthy soya as the base in their food stuff.

They use soya base for cakes to be different from other bakeries and provide healthy cakes. They also use edible inks and food colours which does not harm you.
“We are specialists in making Barbie cakes, photo cakes and chocolate fountain is also available here. We provide ‘Oreo’ milkshakes and Arabica milkshakes which are rich in chocolate and date syrup. Photo cakes are corn and sugar-based. Our main motto is to provide items with five-star quality but pocket-friendly price,” said Rajbabu, owner and chef of the shop.
As a chef, he has 15years experience and has worked in the Middle-Eastern countries, Caribbean Islands and some five-star hotels like Le Meridien.

Come and join Chocoman’s family and experience the difference. After going around the shop, it was hard to resist the temptation and so, we stuffed ourselves with finger-licking goodies.
As they also take orders for birthdays/weddings/corporate functions, here is another reason for you to hit the road to Chromepet and try for yourself the pastries offered by Chocoman’s.
This shop is located opposite Adyar Anandha Bhavan.
