Another reshuffle of IAS officials in TN

 In yet another shuffling of IAS officials in the state, the Tamil Nadu government today transferred and posted S Natarajan, Deputy Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, as Collector of Tiruvarur, replacing C Munianathan. Rajesh Lakhoni,CMD, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Ltd (SIPCOT), has been tranferred and posted as Commissioner of Tourism and MD, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation vice Santosh K Misra, whose services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited for appointment as its Managing Director. A state government press release here said M Karunakaran will be Collector for Coimbatore, replacing T N Hariharan, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department. D Sabitha, formerly CMD, SIPCOT is posted to act as Secretary, School Education Department in place of Dr T S Sridhar, the release said. Sridhar, also Principal Secretary (in-charge), Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted to act as Additional Chief Secretary of the same department, according to sources.
